1. Meetblind-Events
   1. The Meetblind events are organized and hosted by Meetblind (hereinafter referred to as “Organizer”). These terms and conditions govern the relationship between event participants (hereinafter referred to as “Participants”) and the Organizer.
   2. By purchasing a ticket for a Meetblind event, the Participant fully accepts these terms and conditions.
   3. Age limit 20+: Persons under the age of 20 are prohibited from placing orders on the website and participating in the events. Meetblind reserves the right to reject orders if irregularities or abuse of the ordering function are suspected. The exact age group for each event will be specified during the booking process and must be strictly adhered to. The current participation age for events is 20 years or older (as of 22.10.2024).
2. Participation Terms
   1. The contract between the Participant and the Organizer is concluded only when all registration information is provided, the payment has been received, and the event date has been confirmed by the Organizer.
   2. Participants must provide truthful information. False information may lead to exclusion from the event.
3. Subject of the Contract
   1. The Organizer provides an online platform where participants can find event schedules, FAQs, and a live support function.
   2. The Organizer creates schedules for meetings at specified locations and reserves tables and seats for participants.
   3. Participants will receive current event information and any changes to the event schedule by email.
4. Cancellation Policy by the Participant
   1. Free cancellation is possible up to 48 hours before the event. In this case, the full ticket price will be refunded.
   2. If the cancellation occurs after this period, no refund of the ticket cost will be granted.
5. Cancellation Policy by the Organizer
   1. The Organizer can cancel the event if there are not enough registrations or too many last-minute cancellations. In this case, ticket costs will be refunded.
   2. In case of cancellation due to force majeure (e.g., storm, pandemic), the ticket costs will also be refunded.
6. Insurance / Liability Disclaimer
   1. The Organizer excludes all liability. Participation is at the participant's own risk. It is the responsibility of the participants to ensure appropriate insurance.
7. Exclusion of Participants
   1. The Organizer reserves the right to exclude participants from the event without giving a reason. In this case, the ticket cost will be refunded.
8. Participant Obligations
   1. Participants agree to interact respectfully with one another.
   2. Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will lead to immediate exclusion from the event.
   3. Participants must provide correct details during registration.
9. Data Protection
   1. The personal data of participants will be treated confidentially and used only for the event.
   2. No data will be passed on to third parties without explicit consent.
10. Intellectual Property
    1. All content on the Meetblind platform is owned by Meetblind and protected by copyright law.
    2. Use of the content without written permission is prohibited.
11. Change of Terms and Conditions
    1. The Organizer reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time.
    2. Changes will be announced in a timely manner on the website.
12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
    1. Swiss law applies exclusively.
    2. The place of jurisdiction is the location of the operator.
13. Severability Clause
    1. If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions will remain unaffected.
14. Payment Terms
    1. Payments are made online via the payment methods available on the website (credit card, PayPal, etc.).
    2. Receipt of payment is a prerequisite for confirmation of participation.
15. Cancellation and Refund Policy for Vouchers
    1. Vouchers are subject to the same cancellation policies as regular bookings.
    2. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash and have an expiration date specified on the voucher.
16. Photo and Video Recording
    1. Photos and videos may be taken at Meetblind events for promotional purposes.
    2. Participants who do not wish to be photographed or recorded must notify the Organizer in writing in advance.
17. Alcohol and Drug Use
    1. Participants should consume alcohol responsibly. Excessive consumption or use of illegal substances will result in exclusion from the event without a refund of the ticket price.
18. Venue Rules
    1. Participants are required to comply with the venue's house rules.
    2. Violation of the rules may result in exclusion from the event without a refund of the ticket price.
